It was such a pleasure getting to meet Katie and celebrate her graduation from Virginia Tech! After defending her PhD work last summer, she decided to walk for graduation this Spring and wanted a special way to commemorate this chapter of her life. We hit all the main VT spots you would expect—Burruss, the Drillfield, and the Pylons—and then made our way to Hahn Gardens to get some photos with her family.

Fun fact: Virginia Tech’s cap tassels are color coded based on which college you’re graduating from 🎨
